Basket ball was invented in 1891 by Dr James
Naismith, a Physical education Professor. It is played by two teams consisting of 5 players with the aim
of shooting a ball through a hoop that is 10 feet high at each end.
Height is a vital aspect in this game and the average
height of a basketball Player is 6 feet
7 inches . However, some basketball Players are so exceptionally tall that they
make other Players who are tall in the actual sense of the word appear to be
dwarfs.
