Well there are alleged plans by Multi choice to introduce this transgender theme soap opera for young viewers starting Oct 27 2015 and one might be tempted to ask, to what cause?
In my undergraduate years in the University of Benin, Professor M.K.C Uwajeh reiterated into our ears the importance of context to semantics, and not that I mean to bamboozle you with my linguistics jargons but same applies to real life issues.
In introducing a concept(text) into a society, one must take cognisance the values and beliefs of the society(context) but has DSTV undertaken this process and if they have, there most definitely must be a sinister motive because one can be rest assured that this program failed the contextual test.
We need no soothsayers to tell that there is a cost for wersternization, it is the depletion of age long beliefs and values and Nigeria cannot be an exception.
The west operates with its yardstick which believes that it is right to tread down the pathway of the Biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, and where up holders of morality like Kim Davis are locked behind bars.

Our television sets have been raided by foreign tv shows that create facade and illusions about relationship and sex while our home produced shows that teach moral values have gradually been thrown into the trash can.
The Nigerian National Broadcasting Commission must truly rise to its duty of protecting the public and not just by the warning shot fired by its Director of Public Affairs, Awwalu Salihu, that asserts the commission's willingness to investigate, and pull the plug if the programme is guilty of promoting undesirable desires, else Cable Tv introduces hardcore same sex movies after they are done with "I am Jazz" for in the wise words of my father " Na from clap them dey take enter dance".
