Chan 2016: Nigeria Crash Out; Tunisia,Guinea Scale Through

 Ibrahima Sankhon's clinical finish in the 45th minute was enough to crush out the home based Super Eagles of Nigeria out of the 2016 edition of the home based Nations cup competition (CHAN).


The Sunday Oliseh led team needed just a point to qualify into the quarter finals performed below expectation and were punished by the Guinean team who needed a win to qualify into the last 8.

In the other group match, Carthage Eagles of Tunisia were in excellent form as they dismantled Niger Republic 5-0 to emerge group leader 5 points. Guinea is in second place with 5 points trailing Tunisia on goal difference while Nigeria is in third position with 4 points and Niger sit at the bottom of the table with one point.
