Security Operatives Storm Former Customs Boss' Residence,Family Held Hostage

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and security operatives in two loaded trucks on Friday, stormed the house of erstwhile Comptroller-General of the Nigerian customs service, Mr. Abdullahi Inde Dikko,on Ahmed Musa street, Jabi, Abuja.

According to Vanguard, stern looking mobile Policemen and EFCC officials arrived the premises of the erstwhile customs boss in Toyota Hiace trucks to search the house of Dikko who is believed to be out of the country.

His family members are currently under hostage and no one is permitted to either enter or exit the house.

The reason for the search remains unclear at the moment but the search could be connected with his activities when he headed customs service from August 17,2009 and resigned in August, 2015, barely four months into President Buhari's administration.
