Buhari Requests $200m Loan To Develop Lagos

The Senate in its sitting on Tuesday received a letter from Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, seeking its approval for $200 million loan for Lagos state development policy II.
.
The Senate leader, Ali Ndume moved the motion that the Senate consider the request of the President  for special approval of Lagos State Development Policy Operation (DPO) loan (Budget Support) of 200 million Dollars collected from the World Bank.
After deliberations, the request was referred to Ad-hoc Committee on Foreign and Local debt headed by Senator Kabiru Gaya from Kano State.
