President François Hollande has declared a state of emergency and ordered maximum security at the borders. "To all those who have seen these awful things, I want to say we are going to lead a war which will be be pitiless" the President said after surveying the French theatre where dozens of people were massacred by terrorists.
Police reports claim that eight of the militants were killed, seven of them by using suicide vests
The French Police have also set up a special emergency number to call for help should any form of attack occur.
The Islamic State group,ISIS, has claimed responsibility for the attacks in a statement posted online stating it is in retaliation for France's role in Syria bombings.
