According to an eyewitness report, she was abducted Saturday afternoon, at her shop on Okaka road, Yenagoa by four unknown gunmen who drove an ash coloured Lexus SUV. Her sales girl was also kidnapped and both were driven to an unknown location.
Her abduction was also confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Asinim Butswat.
Efforts by the state's security to comb strategic locations across the state capital in search of the abductors have proved abortive.
The Police has however released a statement stating that efforts have been intensified to arrest the kidnappers and investigation is ongoing.
Gov. Seriake Dickson is the incumbent Governor of Bayelsa state and currently leads in the race for the state's governorship election rendered inconclusive until finalised in January,9, 2016.
